    The Best Eldercare

  • Why is human-centred design needed for nursing homes?

    The Best Eldercare

    BROADCAST - February 2022

For this discussion, Rahzeb talked with Florence Mathieu from Aina, France, on the critical need for co-creation-based design approaches for nursing homes. This talk comes at a time when around the world there is a growing focus on and investment to redesign large facilities into more home-like and human-scale spaces. Florence explains the evidenced-based systems thinking and approach behind human-centred design, using examples from a redesign project to illustrate the improved results versus other traditional design approaches.
