Agenda

Unique sessions to inspire, educate and stimulate action.

This year we are hosting two ongoing series. Hosted and written by Rahzeb Choudhury, The Best Eldercare articles and interviews introduce the work of trailblazers from around the world who create new possibilities in eldercare.

And working in partnership with Person Centred Universe and Dr. Gary Irwin-Kenyon, The Pathways Series focuses on self-care for care professionals using stillness exercises and person-centred tools.

For this interview, Rahzeb talks with Florence Mathieu from Aina Labs, France, on the critical need for co-creation-based design approaches for nursing homes. This talk comes at a time when around the world there is a growing focus on and investment to redesign large facilities into more home-like and human-scale spaces. Florence explains the evidenced-based systems thinking and approach behind human-centred design, using examples from a redesign project to illustrate the improved results versus other traditional design approaches.
